I did a flat iron tutorial with shorter hair and you can check it out here...Click Link. This video is how to create loose curls with longer hair. In the flat iron tutorial, I tell you to hold the iron tightly and slowly pull the hair in the iron. If you do this, you create beautiful ringlets. If you want more loose curls at the bottom, I do the same thing, BUT when you get to the ends of your hair, pull the flat iron through quickly so it doesn't have enough time to create a tight curl. Below is the video to create loose curls with a flat iron. As many of you know I eat MSM and Vit C every day. I truly feel it has helped my skin so much. Well, I also use it to make my face serum. I apply yhis serum to my face, neck, chest, and tummy every morning. This is how I make it. This is for two small bottles 4 tsp of distilled water 1 tsp Vit C powder 1 tsp MSM powder dash of DMAE powder I have my hyaluronic acid serum already made and I put in one droplet of it. It helps the serum to not be so watery. So, I know some of you got here because you are doing a Google search on Maskcara products. I have done the same with other MLM companies. And I hate that everyone is trying to get me to sign up under them when all I want is an honest review. I SWORE that I would never do another MLM business. I am a horrible sales woman and they pressure you to get people under you. That is not my skill. So, why would I sign up for another MLM. Well, I actually liked the makeup! You can check out my YouTube channel SHERI LABRANT and you will see my makeup routine with other products. And, I will still review other makeup products. I liked the product and I like the simplicity. I felt that not many women have heard about Maskcara and that many will love the simplicity of the makeup. I feel it is good for women of all ages. I also love that it looks very natural. Not like I am painting my face, but that it is helping to make my natural beauty shine more. I understand this isn't for everyone. I am not going to be pushy, but I do think it is a great product..and even if I do not get a single person to sign under me or I do not sell a single kit...I will continue buying it and using it! These are the products that I used on my eyes: Lashes: Well, these were ones my sister in law bought off of Amazon, not sure I will ever find them again!! Eye shadow: Ulta Gilded Gold Palette Maskcara Illuminator on the full eyelid Maskcara: Sei Bella Brown Eye liner: I am not sure, the pencil is so short, but the color is brown Eyebrows; Wunderbrow Brunette and dark brown eye brow pencil. The on top, Milani (from Walmart) Clear shaping gel EDIT: I decided to become a Maskcara Artist. I really loved the makeup and knew it would be something that I would enjoy. If you want to order or ask me questions, my email is sheri labrant@gmail.com and my Maskcara page is https://www.maskcarabeauty.com/?u=sherilabrant MascaraBeauty Please Order under Party Number #9325 Having the social media that I have, I want to do good things with it. One of them is helping women with their businesses. I had one woman reach out to me to try her makeup line. Her name is Sam Moyer and she is married to a Marine and a mom. She sent me the products to try. I REALLY love the makeup I use and was not sure how I would like these. I watched the video How To Hac and tried to do it myself. To find out, it was very simple and I really like the look. I love that it is easy to carry all that I need in a small compact, the coverage is good, it is simple, and it looks really pretty on. You can watch my review and my application in the video below. If you are interested in trying the makeup, please contact Sam. Her instagram is Sam_M_Moyer and her website is https://www.maskcarabeauty.com/?u=sammoyer MaskcaraBeauty Use Party #8353 So she knows that you saw my review and wanted to try the products. You will want to write to her so she gives you the right color. I definitely plan on using this product. I am surprised at how much I like it....but I really do! I am not a makeup artist, but I do enjoy make up very much. It took me some time to play around and figure out how to do my eyebrows. I do feel that having your eyebrows filled in, does complete the look of your eyes. I have pretty bushy eyebrows and they are not even. So, I have to cut them and shave them to make them even. I can not wax them because I use retin a and when you use that, your skin is thinner. Waxing can rip off a layer of skin...yes this has happened!! OUCH! I started to use Wunderbrow. A little goes a long way. I brush the brows in place and then use a thin brush to apply the wunderbrow. The higher eyebrow, I color in underneath to make it lower. The lower eyebrow, I fill in higher. This is the best way to make them appear even. After using Wunderbrow, I then use a brown eye pencil. This makes the color match my hair and skin a little more. I felt with flash photography, the wunderbrow made my brows too blonde, even though I am using brunette. Lastly, I use a clear eyebrow gel on the inner parts of my eyebrows. I do this to soften lines and try to blend in the eyebrow lines with the wispy hairs. It might take you a few tries to get it just right, but you will catch on. I even would take pictures just to make sure I was doing them evenly. Sometimes, they are off!! Hopefully it is not too noticeable! lol I pretty much do the same morning routines and night routines daily. I have seen such improvement on my face, I feel badly when I do miss a day. Below are the products that I use: Conair Rotating facial brush. I tried to find a link for this, but I could not. This is not the exact product, but this is very similar. Rotating Facial Brush CeraVe Hydrating Cleanser My Vitamin C serum contains MSM, DMAE, and Hyaluronic Acid. I make this myself, but you can find serums online. My first purchase was from Etsy Matrixyl S6 Serum L'Oreal Age Perfect Golden Balm Neck Cream CeraVe Am Facial Moisturizing Lotion Having children is a wonderful blessing and I would not change that for the world. Sadly, sometimes our body does change. One of the issues I had after my fourth, was I got a lot of stretch marks and a lot of loose skin. I was told the only thing I could do was get a tummy tuck. That is very frustrating to hear. Now that I am in my late 40s, I am doing everything I can to keep the skin on my face nice and firm. I decided, if these things work for the face, why not the tummy. I thought it wa worth a shot. My tummy is not anywhere near pre chidlren, but I do feel like it has impooved quite a bit. I wish I knew about these things when I was younger, because I do believe I would have had better results. These are the products I use, Link is in the name of the product. MSM Powder Vit C Dermaroller: I do not think this is the exact product, but it is basically the same 1.5 mm Matrrxyl S6 Serum Retin A: I buy mine online When I did The Amazing Race, we are always asked...what will we do with our winnings. I always joked that one thing I would do is get Botox. I never had and I really wanted it. I had one line between my eyebrows and it drove me crazy. No matter what I did, it stayed. I tried to tape it at night, face yoga, retrain myself not to frow...but that one line remained. So after coming in second place doing the Amazing Race, I did use some of my winnings to pay for botox. I was 46 and getting it the first time. I LOVED it! I could not believe that after a few days, that line was gone and my forehead looked so smooth. Next time I went in, I did my crows feet. They never really bothered me, but I thought, why not try it there. I loved it! I did not realize how much smoother everything became. Sadly, my body eats botox like crazy. No matter how much they inject, it only lasted 10 weeks. I could not afford to keep this up. Then my esthicitican mentioned Dysport. So of course I had to google it. I found this: "After reviewing the available literature on Dysport this much can be said so far:1. Dysport and Botox have similar mechanisms of action (neuromuscular blocking toxin) 2. Dysport has less of a protein load than Botox. Clinically this means that Dysport will result in the formation of fewer antibodies against it. Antibodies are what our bodies use to detect and destroy foreign proteins aka antigens (the injected medications). Hence the assumption is that with fewer antibodies being formed the clinical effects of Dysport should last longer than those of Botox. That being said, some clinical trials indicate that Botox has longer lasting results. 3.In clinical studies, author's noted that Dysport "spreads more" during injection. This is both a good and a bad thing. It is good in that large areas that need injection (forehead, armpits) would require fewer injections due to the spreading. This would mean less likelihood of potential discomfort, swelling or bruising for the patient. It is bad in that unless the Physician is an experienced injector with a good understanding of more complex musculature (around the eyes, between the eyebrows), the Dysport could spread into unwanted areas causing untoward side effects (blurry vision, droopy eyebrows). 4. Dysport is diluted more than Botox which may cause some confusion for Clinicians not adept at determining how many units to inject in each anatomical area with the new product. However in the United Kingdom, this dilution has resulted in more cost effectiveness where 100 units of Botox goes for $525.00 and 500 units of Dysport is $300.00. 5. At this stage no significant "red flags" have been raised about the safety of Dysport. Of specific concern, allergies and infections have not been seen to a clinically significant degree." I decided to try it out. I saw Dr. Bell at Plus Med Spa and made an appointment for Dysport. After receiving Dysport a few times now, let me go through point by point on the above. 1. Yes Dysport is also neuromuscular blocking toxin. The way this works is, the messages that your face is sending to your brain to make your forehead move up..is blocked. That is the reason it takes a few days for Botox and Dysport to work. As the toxin wears off, you regain the movement again because the messages are arriving to your brain. 2. Maybe clinical trials say botox lasts longer, but from my experience, that has not been the case, I have also read stores of women that their botox didn't last long, and yet had Dysport last much longer. If your botox isn't lasting the full three months, maybe give dysport a try. 3. This is another thing that I love about dyposrt...it spreads! I like that. I hated having parts of my face frozen. Dysport spreads so I get a softer look in my opinion. Saying that, you do need an experienced provider that fully understands where to inject since dysport does spread. 4. I have found dysport to be much cheaper and lasts much longer. It is worth the money in my opinion. 5. I have not had any allergies to dysport. If you are local, I highly recommend Dr. Bell at Plush Med Spa. If you are considering botox or dysport, I am a huge fan of dysport. Do your research and make sure you see a provider that knows what he/she is doing! This procedure isn't for everyone, but I like it because I feel like I am saving my face from creating deeper lines down the road. Taking care of your skin is very important. Eat right, drink water, sun block...do these things please. Botox and Dysport is just one tool of many that you can use! |
